The Challenge
To improve the main product navigation for all users, for all tasks during their workday and workflows.
Before Designing
I began with research, listened to customers and their frustrations, met with the customer support team to solicit user feedback on what have they heard, and maybe with a priority of failures and misses.
Then I collaborated with the product team and stakeholders during product grooming with one goal in mind; to properly define and determine what it would take to build an intuitive and simplistic navigation menu.
Outcome
Sales and customer support have reported an increase in satisfaction within the site. The reason given was that the new navigation menu enables them to easily accomplish their tasks and get their work done in less time.
Plus our customers can find 'that thing' quicker and easier.
The Challenge
The previous teams in charge of the legacy system required strong collaboration in order to ensure a cohesive experience between our new and old systems. Using the comps, we were able uphold a consistent design.
Before Designing

In Affinity, there are 4 different user types at the account level: Basic, Standard, and Account Admin (Basic, Professional, and Enterprise Tiers), and Enterprise Admin.
