I joined Climate as their first design lead and we immediately tested the idea of utilizing big data for real-time farming insights with a focus operational optimization, and in 4 months we soft-launched a full-scale precision agriculture platform. In the first 12 months we mapped about 100,000 acres and our playform was validated as the first ever farming operations platform. In 2018 Climate’s precision agriculture platform now has an incredible 350m acres mapped and 110m of those acres are reviewed on a daily basis in several countries.
